If I was in the NBA.
Chapter #1
A Big Surprise
One day I woke up and I ate breakfast and turned on the TV to ESPN. They were about to announce the starting line up of today's NBA basketball game.It was the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Miami Heat to win the national Championship. I was so excited to see the starting line up I was about to pee my pants because I wanted Dwayne Wade to be in.
"Here we go" Announced the Commentator Dick Vatele they announced the starting line up Lebron James, Dwayne Wade. I was so happy That Dwayne got in the starting line up.
"Mike Miller, Cris Bosh, and Alex Kilpatrick." I was Dancing around so happy the I rewindw` it to listen to the starting line up again but I here my name and I am Shocked. And I Thought that there must have been another Alex Kilpatrick.
I go to my closet to make sure and there was a A jersey with Kilpatrick on the back and number 13. I called the head coach of the heat and asked if I played.
"Yes silly." coach said
"What is my address then" I asked him. 012345678910 he said. He was right.
"Are you sure" I asked.
"Yes you are the best player in the NBA you were rookie of the year award to." Said coach. "Come on you the game already started and we need you."Coach said.
"Be right there." I said.
Chapter #2
The Big Game
I take a shower and get dressed and then realized I didn't have a car. Then I thought if I am in the NBA and didn't know it then I probably have a nice car too. I go out to my garage and I have a giant Big Black Dually Ford F-350. It is awesome. It was my dream car. Well I get in and drive to the game. I get there at half time I go to the locker room and the coach is telling us to get our game face on for the second half because we are down by 50 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They put me in the game and I don't have a clue what to do but then when they score my instincts kick in I am scoring hear and there and we are losing by 2 with five seconds left and it is our ball. I get the ball and shoot and I miss. The other team runs on the court screaming because they won the Championship. Then the REF says I got fouled so I get to shoot three free throws I make 2 of them and the game is tied then I make my last one. We won the game and my team came out screaming we won !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chapter #3
My Big Party
The next week I went to my normal practice then........ My team threw me a big party and we all shot around and had a good time and then I went home and had a nice warm shower and went to bed.
When I woke up it was 12:00.
"You must have slept good. That is a good thing because you have practice."
"Mom why are you here?" I asked.
" I am always here." She said awkwardly. I look at my arms and realize it was just a dream. Then I went to practice and I was better than every body because I played NBA players. I love that dream.
